Persons of Interest was hired by the Edmonton Rock Music Festival in 2017 to open up the first day of the Fest. The slot they inhabited was arguably a difficult one, setting the stage for the two classic bands to follow that night (5 Man Electrical Band, and Tom Cochrane & Red Rider), and indeed setting the tone for the weekend.
They took to the stage with impressive confidence and aplomb, playing in front of an appreciative audience approaching 2000 patrons. We enlisted them for the gig over 30 other contending Edmonton bands - we chose them based upon the strength of their reputation on the local scene, and the endorsement of many Society members who had seen them perform in local clubs.
Their song selections, their delivery, and their stage presence (particularly their frontwoman's engaging energy) proved to us that we made a fantastic choice by booking them.
From the perspective of a producer, they were very easy to deal with off stage in the business aspects of the booking. Their level of demonstrated professionalism, particularly in this crazy industry of live music, was very much appreciated by me and our Fest volunteers.
I heartily recommend Persons of Interest to any organization or promoter looking to put on a great rock and roll show - their song selections will pack a dance floor and make for an incredible night of fun!

To whom it may concern,
Over the last several years I have had the pleasure of attending several gigs involving Persons of Interest. My first time witnessing this dynamic group was at our end of riding season party in 2016. The band played for approximately 300 of our friends, family and supporters. Their performance, energy and song selection kept the dance floor packed all evening.
Since then we have booked them to play for us at our main charity event the Erin Doyle Memorial Poker Run. Every year we raise money for the Kids with Cancer Society and in 2017 Persons of Interest were instrumental in helping us raise thousands of dollars for this worthwhile cause. The energy that the band exudes and the songs that they play keep people engaged and yelling for more. The playlist covered all age groups in attendance and made for a memorable evening.
They’re frontwoman Christina McKay is also active in supporting the veteran community with a yearly calendar that raises money for disabled veterans. As a disabled combat veteran myself this means a lot to me personally.
Off stage, they are easy to deal with and patient when dealing with first time clients. Christina’s easy going and friendly manner puts you at ease and makes booking them to play a pleasure. Their level of professionalism is second to none and as a former soldier and Peace Officer it is greatly appreciated. I look forward to booking them in the future.
I would recommend without hesitation Persons of Interest to any organization who wishes to book this outstanding group.
